Short updates from what I worked on each day. The fix, the gotcha, the thing that worked. Longer pieces live in Writing.
October 2026
- Oct 15
Working on a Release Wave hat. Black cap, white thread, a skull wearing headphones on the front and the name across the back. Getting the files ready so I can hold a real one soon.
- Oct 14
Starting a Release Wave hat. A small patch on the front, a circle of text around an icon. Trying skulls with headphones, hearts, music notes. Still hunting for the one that feels right.
- Oct 13
Cloudtape now opens straight to your library. No spinner, no empty screen first. It's an offline first player, so it never should have made you wait in the first place. Shipped to both stores today.
- Oct 12
My little Mac Mini now reads through the day's app errors and decides which ones are worth sending an agent to fix. Today it picked one, a branch came back, and I shipped it. Still rough, but I like it.
- Oct 9
Cloudtape 1.1.0 is with the stores now, iPhone and Android both. Buying the upgrade now picks your sync back up, and reviewers get a sample library with everything unlocked.
- Oct 7
Built myself a private ops tool Claude can talk to. It publishes little preview pages I can open anywhere, and tells me how my machines are doing. Less reliance on artifacts, more of it mine.
- Oct 6
Myne can now look at your photos and fill in the blanks on a listing draft for you. It only touches empty fields, and you confirm its guesses. Listing a pile of stuff should feel a lot less like data entry. Read more →
- Oct 6
Myne now has a web side for selling in bulk. Sign in, see all your items, fill details down a grid, and preview what would be listed before anything goes out. Phone-sized cards too. Read more →
- Oct 5
You can now connect FixPoint to Claude and manage your rental requests by just talking to it. I like where this is heading: less clicking around, more telling an assistant what needs fixing. Read more →
- Oct 5
FixPoint links now show a real preview when you share them. A contractor sees what the job is before they ever log in. Small thing, but it makes the first tap feel less like a cold ask.
- Oct 2
Cloudtape 1.1.0 is on its way to TestFlight. It has an Up Next queue, smart playlists, listening stats, and storage limits so downloads don't quietly eat your phone.
- Oct 1
Release Wave's updates page now drafts itself every week. I get a short summary on my phone and tap publish or reject. Nothing goes live without me, but I don't have to write it either.
- Oct 1
Cloudtape is getting a real play queue and smart playlists. Playlists that fill themselves from what you added or played lately. Starting to feel like a proper player, not just a file browser.
September 2026
- Sep 30
Started building a bug watcher for my apps. Twice a week it collects errors from production, picks the ones that matter, and starts a fix on its own. I'd like to stop being the one who notices. Read more →
- Sep 29
Cloudtape is on the App Store now, and I'm getting the Android version ready for Google Play. Same idea on both: your own music files, offline first, nothing recommending you anything.
- Sep 29
My site has a notes page now: a daily feed of short updates on what I'm building, with tags and search. It writes a first draft from my day's work, and I decide what goes live.
- Sep 27
Cloudtape 1.0 is live on the App Store and the first update is already in review. There's a small sample library built in, so you can try it before connecting Dropbox.
- Sep 24
Started a moodboard tool for doing design work with Claude. We pin references and write a brief together, and it checks it actually gets the look before designing anything.
- Sep 24
Built a listening history page for Release Wave: upload your Spotify export and see years of listening laid out, with Last.fm plays merged in.
- Sep 22
Cloudtape works in CarPlay. You can browse albums and artists from the dash, and it took about a day.
- Sep 19
One agent split three Cloudtape features across three helpers working side by side: lyrics, volume levelling and a sleep timer. All three merged cleanly.
- Sep 18
Cloudtape scrobbles to Last.fm now, even offline. Plays queue up and send later, and you can take back a scrobble you didn't mean.
- Sep 17
I run agent sessions on three Macs now. A handoff command writes a brief, starts a session on another machine, and checks that it picked up where I left off.
- Sep 17
Cloudtape plays albums without a gap between tracks now. Live records and mixes finally sound the way they should.
- Sep 11
Cloudtape is in TestFlight. Music already on the phone sits in the same library as the Dropbox stuff, so an album doesn't show up twice.
- Sep 10
New project: Cloudtape, a music player for my own files. It syncs from Dropbox, plays offline, and looks more like a shelf of old jazz sleeves than a streaming app.
August 2026
July 2026
- Jul 30
Feedback on RevCogs now kicks off an agent. It tries a fix on a branch and drafts a reply for me to read. The first run turned one request straight into a shipped feature.
- Jul 24
Swapped a heavy self-hosted social scheduler for a tiny one I wrote. It only ever had to post reels for one account, and it was eating a big chunk of the Mac mini's memory.
- Jul 22
Wrote up my home agent setup in three posts: the nightly repo agent, the memory service, and letting an agent drive the browser I'm already signed into.
- Jul 20
Wrote a Claude Code skill for letting one strong model plan the work and hand it out to a team of helper agents. Its first job planned a whole photo-cropping feature in waves.
- Jul 16
Release Wave has a public page of upcoming releases now, with filters and a player that starts a preview in one click. It's the raw list before we pick favourites.
- Jul 13
Release Wave now goes looking for new music every night across a dozen sources and drops the promising stuff into a playlist. Curating is back to just listening.
- Jul 12
I'm juggling five projects with a handful of agent sessions each and kept losing my place. Started a small personal memory service: I toss notes in, ask questions later, get answers with sources.
- Jul 8
Release Wave makes its own short videos now. New releases get cut into vertical reels, grouped by scene, and scheduled out a few times a week without me touching them.
- Jul 6
A nightly agent now reads every one of my repos and rewrites the notes that tell other agents how each project works. It commits the changes and sends me a summary before I'm up.
- Jul 2
Built one small notifier for all my projects. Deploys, app builds and long jobs all ping my phone now, with a link to the real live site instead of some preview.
- Jul 2
The Mac mini in the closet is where my agents live now. I name a repo in a chat message from my phone and a fresh Claude Code session starts working on it.
June 2026
- Jun 30
Release Wave has a new kind of post: staff picks of older albums we've gone back to. Each one expires on its own, so the homepage stays fresh without anyone cleaning up.
