Myne now has a web side for selling in bulk

Myne's bulk selling moves to the web: see all your items, fill details down a grid, and preview your listings before anything goes out.

Myne is an app for keeping track of your stuff and getting it listed for sale. Until now it lived on your phone. That's fine for one item, and it's miserable for fifty.

So Myne now has a web side built for selling in bulk.

What it does

You open it on a computer and see all your items in one list. Select a range, edit things inline, and move on.

Then there's the grid. Each row is a listing draft. You can fill a value down a whole column, or paste a column of values in. It also tells you which drafts are ready and which are still missing something, so you're not guessing.

Before anything goes out, there's a preview. It shows what would be listed, and it sends nothing. I wanted a place to catch mistakes while they're still cheap.

It works at phone size too. On a narrow screen the grid turns into cards, so you can still do a bit of cleanup from the couch.

Why I built it

Typing the same shipping details and the same condition into forty drafts on a phone screen is not a good use of anyone's evening. A spreadsheet-style grid is just the right tool for that job.

One rough edge: the empty state looked cramped on mobile at first, with the content hugging the screen edge. I added some padding. Small thing, but it's the kind of thing you only see when you actually check at both widths.

What's next

The preview is the stop before the real thing. Next I'm working on actually sending listings out to a marketplace from the same grid, so the preview becomes a button you can press.
