You can now connect FixPoint to Claude and manage your rental requests by talking to it.
FixPoint is a tool for property managers and owners who deal with repair requests: what's broken, who's coming to fix it, and what happened after. It works fine in a browser. But a lot of the job is small stuff like checking what's open, looking up a contractor, or updating a request. Opening an app for each of those gets old.
So I wanted to do it from a chat instead. Once FixPoint is connected as a Claude connector, you can ask what's still open, have it pull up a request, or tell it to make a change. It reads and writes to your real FixPoint data, and it only sees your own properties.
What it looks like
- You approve the connection once, on a screen that tells you what you're granting.
- Claude can then look things up and make changes for you.
- There's a list of connected apps in your settings. Disconnect one and it stops working right away.
Rough edges
I've tested this a lot on my own machine, and the live version responds the way it should. But I haven't connected a real Claude account to the live site yet. That's the next thing I'm doing, and I expect to find something I missed.
I like where this is heading. I'd rather tell an assistant what needs fixing than hunt for the right button. If it works the way I hope, most of the clicking around goes away.
